A breve appena mi chiameranno e sarà arrivata la collezione nuova salirò su a Milano per acquistare le slipper di Rubinacci una sartoria con sedi nei punti strategici come Milano, Roma, Londra, New York, Tokyo e Napoli.
L’avvio delle attività sartoriali risale alla prima metà del XIX secolo, allorché il bisnonno di Mariano Rubinacci iniziò a commerciare sete con l’Oriente, in una bottega nei pressi del Castello Angioino.
Da allora l’atelier Rubinacci esprime con le sue creazioni il grado più alto e raffinato dell’eleganza maschile.
Agli inizi degli anni Trenta, suo nipote Gennaro, conosciuto nell’alta società partenopea come indiscusso arbiter elegantarum, apriva una boutique nel centro di Napoli, la London House.
Il suo atelier diventò sartoria privilegiata di molti personaggi celebri, dai principi di Savoia ad Edoardo de Filippo e Vittorio de Sica poichè Gennaro Rubinacci intuiva subito quali erano le esigenze dei suoi clienti e faceva confezionare per loro abiti su misura dal taglio unico, di incomparabile classe.
Negli ultimi trenta anni, Mariano Rubinacci ha saputo divulgare il messaggio dei suoi avi nel mondo, dagli Show Room di Roma, Milano e Tokyo fino ad arrivare a Parigi, Londra, New York dove le famose camicie, le giacche e le cravatte della Maison, insieme ad alcuni capi Donna, sono oggi simbolo di classe e eleganza.
